Why Results?

A: Results offers you a team of health and fitness professionals and the ultimate in quality and convenience. You save time and money when a Results professional comes to you, and your safety and satisfaction are our number one priority!

Our certified personal trainers are employees – not contractors – and every employee undergoes extensive background and reference checks in order to ensure your safety and satisfaction.  This is extremely important when allowing any professional into your home.

Unlike many health clubs, where competition for clients is tough and it’s every trainer for themselves, our trainers work together for the good of every client.  This means that when you hire Results, you are getting the education, experience and expertise of everyone on our team – not just one person.

What if I have a gym membership or my own equipment at home or at work?

A:  One of the most unique benefits of our business is that we bring all of our services to the location of our client’s choice – at home, at work, or at any gym that will grant us access.  We’ll show you how to safely and effectively use any equipment you have access to.  We’ll empower you with a comprehensive fitness plan and help you achieve your fitness goals.

What can I expect during the Wellness Consultation / Fitness Assessment?

A: During your wellness consultation we want to get to know you!  We'll discuss and analyze your medical history, health history, postural and structural alignment, past injuries, age, family history, life habits, etc.; all while empathetically listening to your unique goals and personal needs.

During your fitness assessment we will have you perform basic movement patterns, stretches, strength and cardiovascular tests. In this 60 minute meeting we want to do all that we can to understand your needs and level of conditioning so that we can prescribe the best fitness solution to help you reach your goals. Also skin fold caliper and circumference measurements will be logged to assess ongoing body composition changes.

What clothing should I wear for the fitness assessment or for my training sessions?

A: Dress in comfortable athletic apparel. We recommend breathable athletic style clothing that will allow you to move freely. We also recommend athletic shoes, preferably cross training, running or walking shoes. Keep in mind that during fitness assessments we will need to access your arm, thigh and hip, so short sleeves and short pants are helpful.

How much space do we need to workout out?

A: We only need a small amount of space to train. We can move the coffee table in your living room, workout in the entry hall or even in a sunroom. The amount of space required varies from approximately 8 x 8 to 10 x 15 depending on whether or not the session involves private, partner or group training. We can also train clients outdoors, at the park or at the office. We can workout almost anywhere!

What kind of fitness equipment do I need?

A: We will bring all of the equipment necessary to complete your workout.  In addition to our state-of-the-art resistance equipment, we utilize other fitness gear ranging from medicine balls, resistance bands and tubing to dumbbells, stability balls and other functional training equipment. If you have access to stationary cardio equipment (treadmill, bike, etc.), we will incorporate this equipment into your customized cardio program. We can also show you how to safely and effectively use any resistance equipment that you might have at home, the office or the gym.

We also sell all of the equipment that we use.  A small investment in training equipment will give you the freedom to train on your own and to begin building your own home gym!
